KOPPEL ANIMATION is an animationstudio based in Copenhagen, run by Sara Koppel (born 1970), one of the last standing animators in Denmark, who is still drawing on paper, an art she have been practicing since she started on tegnedrengene and Swan Film on Valhalla back in 1984.

Since then, she have been working on all major animation movies in the 80's and 90's with Jannik Hastrup and A. film, and with her own companies, first Kuntzkoppel starting in 2002, and now on her own with Koppel Animation.

Sara Koppel have 25 years of experience in feature- and short- films, commercials, storyboard and character design, but she is also one of the best erotic animators in Denmark, with her works on festivals around the world.
